JUNE 18                                  BONJOUR 
SUNDAY              4:30 PM                          

After our BUFFET BREAKFAST, we will board our CHARTER COACH for a visit to LIEGES. 
We will meet the Lieges Greeters and enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful city.  The most famous landmark in Liege is MONTAGNE
DE BUEREN (Bueren Mountain), a series of 374 steps set at a 30 degree angle.  There are many charming courtyards to see along the way and a fantastic view of the city
at the top, if you survive the climb.  The BATTE (open-air marketplace) will be in business until about 2:00 PM.  Visit PARC BOVERIE and LA BOVERIE,
a museum which contains works of Picasso and Magritte.  MUSEE CURTIUS (Curtius Museum) is a museum of Archeology and Art
and the MUSEE DU VERRE exhibits glassware dating back to the 9^th Century BCE.  Visit the Gothic CONVENT CHURCH OF SAINT PAUL (founded in the 9^th Century)
and the CATHEDRAL OF SAINT-BARTHELEMY, which is the oldest building in Liege and contains fine examples of MOSAN ART. 
The GARE DE LIEGE-GUILLEMINS L(Train Station) is a beautiful structure worth a visit, as is a trip to COUR SAINT-ANTOINE,
a surreal Dali-esque courtyard.  After viewing the magnificent PALAIS DES PRINCES-EVEQUES, we will enjoy a traditional meal at LA BRASSERIE. 

At 1:00 PM, we will have a Group Lunch at As Ouhes


Follow this hearty meal with a traditional LIEGE WAFFLE
at UNE GAUFRETTE SAPERLIPOPETTE or MAISON MASSIN and end your meal with a visit to LA MAISON DU PEKET
for a glass of PEKET, a traditional Liege alcoholic drink made from Juniper Berries.

At 4:30 PM, we will meet at SAINT CATHERINE  CHURCH in Neuvice and prepare for a 6:00 PM FRIENDSHIP CONCERT
with JEHAN LE BEL CHOIR   After the concert, we will return to our hotel around 10:00 PM

DINNER is on your own.  BONSOIR
